Smite, a third-person multiplayer online battle arena, puts players in control of mythological characters and gods from eight different pantheons as they battle against each other in 5vs5 combat.
Though the MOBA genre has typically been played from a top-down perspective, Smite’s third-person perspective introduces a fresh new take on the genre. Players will pick from characters from a number of different mythological backgrounds, leveling the characters up and unlocking items that will make their attacks and abilities more effective. New characters, skins, announcer packs and UI elements can be unlocked with currency earned in-game or through the cash micro-transaction shop.
